Welcome to our beautiful Florida beach cottage with heated pool located Mid Island on Fort Myers Beach. Our beach house has new furnishing including new loveseat, couch, 50" flat screen TV, kitchen dining table with seating for 4 and new bedroom furniture. Our kitchen has all the essentials of home. The master bedroom has a queen bed, flat screen TV and private master updated bathroom with shower. Bedroom #2 has two twin beds. The newly remodeled hallway bathroom has a tub/shower. You will love the charming wood floors throughout the property. Our property has many desired amenities including Free wifi, internet, washer/dryer, linens, beach towels and pet friendly. There is a $150 nonrefundable pet fee for one, $200 for two.

Property is located in a quiet zone neighborhood, just steps to our private dedicated beach access with gazebo and outdoor shower as well as private fishing pier on the back bay that offers large tiki hut with picnic tables, benches, boat slips and local wildlife.

There is a $100.00 fee for cancellations.

This house was immaculate and so was the pool. It was perfect for a family of 6 and only steps away from the beach.

Relaxing vacay with my family 2020-10-06

We were supposed to go out west this year but because of COVID-19 we had to change our plans. We decided on a beach vacation. We had a wonderful, low key, and relaxing time with our family. We enjoyed the beach, which was only a few steps away from the house we rented. The bay is also very close as well. The house was the perfect size for the 4 of us and we loved having our own private pool. The master bedrooms shower was awesome!! We liked that we could come back and fix lunch and chill out for a while and then either swim in our pool or go back to the ocean. We loved the private entrance onto the beach. Very easy to get to and that it had a place to wash off our feet when leaving the beach. A couple of things to know, we had some issues with the lock on the door but once we figured it out it worked great. I wished there would have been a stool in the shower to prop my foot up on to shave (I’m sure the ladies would agree). Some of the signs posted throughout the house were faded and hard to read. Other than those issues our vacation was perfect!!

This is a charming cottage and has worked well or our little family so we decided early on to rebook for a 2nd year.

My review is very complimentary of TriPower. If I had a home in the area and needed a management service I would certainly call on them. They responded quickly and satisfied our concerns and needs. My compliments to Annie for her professionalism. We did see some wear on the home this year from last year at the same time and would urge the owner of the property to give this place some love. It may mean not taking some revenue for a week but your quests would appreciate it. It's tough as I am aware as a property owner/landlord that not all people care for your place as some might.

It's great to have the pool and the location of this home is perfect. We so enjoyed our time on the beach and our daily walk to the bay side too.

We also over the two visits met so many lovely people. Permanent residents and those in other rentals. Most were so welcoming and kind.

We have alternate plans for next year so we won't be returning. Thank you for the memories!

When we arrived, we couldn't access the place because of the door pad malfunctioning. We called 3 times before someone finally showed up to let us in. We were unable to use the front door during our whole 7 day stay. We were able to have early access arrival time though. There isn't any instruction on how to operate the outside pool lights and outside lights. We found this located in a fuse box down by the pool. We had to call and ask for a blanket for the pull out couch since there wasn't one. The vacation rental place was very kind and easy to work with. The pool was really nice, although doesn't get much sun for sun bathing. Our family of 6 really did enjoy our vacation in this cute rental. The bikes were really nice to have as well. Except one had a broken seat. There is plenty of beach gear at this place as well, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys,and plenty of beach towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need. The beach is 5 houses away and across Estero Blvd. to the left, can't miss it. Besides our minor set backs, we truly enjoyed our stay.

We had a spectacular stay on Gulf Island Drive. We were steps away from the beach which was walkable every day. Bikes helped transport us to farther away places like the library, Times Square, Publix for grocerys, etc. Loved dining at the Fish House.

Love Ft Myers Beach! 2020-10-06

The House itself is great, older but nicely decorated, nice neighborhood, loved the beach gazebo when the sun got too hot. Kitchen is well equipped, lots of towels, clean. Trolley stop is right at the end of the street. "Next bus" app on my smart phone was really helpful for trolley timing, too hot to stand out in the sun for long, would recommend getting a bus pass so you don't have to worry about correct change. Downside, house sleeps 6 but only has 3 beach chairs and nothing to use to haul your stuff to the beach. Beautiful beach and great gazebo but hard to haul all your stuff down. Also says 5 bikes in listing, there was only 4, we did have to call the rental manager for help with bikes, previous users had raised seats so high we couldn't use them and 1 had flat, but they sent someone to fix all that for us. Light over the stairs didn't work but didn't want to waste vacation time waiting for a repair guy. The area is great, but wish we had been closer to Times Square, trolleys stop at 930 so couldn't really enjoy the nightlife. We did go on the gambling boat, had dinner and drinks at several restaurants, enjoyed the music and sunsets in Time Square, took the trolley down to Lovers Key, saw Manatees and armadillos there. Overall had a great vacation, few minor details but nothing bad enough to spoil a great vacation.

This cottage is a great place to stay! It is cozy, and has an "old Florida" feel which is hard to find. It has been updated, but retains the cypress paneling and cabinetry that was popular when the cottage was built. Very charming!!

Just got back from this beach rental and I must say I am very pleased. I was there for a week long business trip and took advantage of the location. I could have stayed at a regular chain hotel but opted to have the accommodations that I would have at home. The rental price was a steal, since low season in Florida is summer time. $700 for the week plus all the fees and taxes totaled up to $950, went to Publix and spent another $100 for all I needed during that week, needless to say that my company was very pleased to know I did an entire week stay at less than $200 a day. The place is clean, in a great location and you just cross the street and have beach access. This side of the island is not as crowded as the main side where all the shops are at. This is more of a residential feel and you have the beach almost to yourself. The management company was great! I literally called them the afternoon before my check-in day and told them I needed accommodations for the next day... she was there just another ten minutes before leaving for the day but still managed to accommodate me. I arrived the next day and everything was there for me in the business lock box. The only negative I would say, and it did not present a problem for us really, is the AC situation. Florida is HOT and I am not sure on the insulation of the place but we had to keep the AC on at all times. Follow the directions they have written on the AC box and just let it run. Leave it on Auto and gradually lower the temp... It will be in the 80's when you get in the first day, lower it to 76, then to 74 and so on until you get your desired temp. It will cool down, it will just take time. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having this available for me in such short notice.

The rental property was fantastic! Perfect for our family of three. All the beach equipment we needed was there (we bought an umbrella and donated it to the house) and the short walk to the beach was wonderful. The only hiccup was the neighbor coming over and accusing my wife of throwing garbage on his property (pieces of hose, old insulation). Right, because that's how we're spending our vacation - throwing garbage on a stranger's property. Otherwise, our stay was great.

Great Location... To improve it: new sheets for master bed, have a notebook explaining how to work older a/c units in living area and where the extra sheets, blanket, pillows for the pull out couch are, add a quilted mattress pad to put on sofa bed, have extra trash bags under sink, add an extra bar of soap for the showers. We had a lovely time with our family here-thank you!

We enjoyed our month at 126 Gulf Island very much and would definitely recommend the home and hope to possibly return someday. The pool was easily the best part of our stay, so refreshing and the perfect size for us! The cottage/home is very nice but could use a little attention. Although, we were very comfortable and the home was the perfect size for us. We enjoyed having the screened-in porch as well. The neighborhood is really nice and we made friends with some of the other renters in the hood as well as some of the permanent owners. I loved having access to the pier and the beach. We had some initial trouble with the bikes that were provided to us and made a call to TriPower who contacted the owner and the bikes were picked up and the issues resolved right away. Thank you for that! We were treated to neighborhood iguanas that often visited and would watch us from the palm trees, very cool! For us, this home was perfectly located on the island. Thanks again to the owner and TriPower, it was a pleasure.

Very nice home with comfortable furniture and beds. It was very clean when we arrived. The home is well laid out and much larger than it appears from the street. The pool was a very nice feature. Appreciated the use of their bikes during our stay. I would definitely rent this home again. Thank you to Nancy and TriPower for a wonderful stay!
